Ashley Lambert (27 and a coordinator) and William King (32 and a consultant) met online. William proposed while they were on vacation in Yellowstone National Park. “We went on a hike along the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone,” Ashley says. “We reached a point called Pointe Sublime, an area that overlooked the beautiful canyon. As we were getting ready to leave, William grabbed me and said, ‘You know I love you.’ I said, ‘I love you too.’ Then William got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. After he grabbed the wrong hand, I was shocked and didn't know what to say. Then I gave him my left hand and said, ‘Yes.’” Ashley and William had a traditional Catholic ceremony before heading to the Four Points by Sheraton for the reception. Inspired by their favorite colors, the couple used yellow and green for their color palette. The couple enjoyed rosemary lemon chicken and BBQ for dinner before enjoying a small cake and cupcake desserts.

"I designed the stationary to look vintage and elegant," Ashley says. They used a yellow and green color palette to represent their favorite colors.

“I wore a Maggie Sottero dress called Ashleigh (yes I feel in love with a dress that happened to be my name),” Ashley says. “It was an A-line, mermaid style dress with layered lace and corset back.”
“Our wedding took place in a beautiful, old catholic church,” Ashley says. “The church was a church that I started attending several years ago. The minute I stepped in that church for the first time I knew that one day I would marry the man of my dreams there.”
"We decided to stick to the trend of having cupcakes and a small cake for us to cut," Ashley says. "We even built the stand for our cupcakes together, and I placed a pin my great grandma always wore to feel her presence."
