A Simple Wedding at 310 Lakeside in Orlando, Florida

High-school sweethearts Shellsea Oberski and Luis Hernandez planned a simple outdoor wedding filled with subtle vintage flair and just the right amount of color, from the patterned coral and blue cupcake flags to the bottled-candy wedding favors. Corner House Photography captured every blue and coral detail as the day started in Lake Eola Park with an outdoor ceremony lined with baby’s breath in blue glass mason jars. A fun indoor dance party at 310 Lakeside, a nearby restaurant, topped off the celebration. “We wanted a city feel with an intimate vibe,” says Shellsea. “Lake Eola was perfect among skyscrapers but tucked away for an intimate ceremony.” The couple’s florals added just the right touch to their wedding, with multiple lush, white arrangements. Shellsea and her bridesmaids carried bright summer bouquets of white hydrangeas accented with soft peach roses and peach hypericum berries, which complemented the bridesmaids' coral hi-low, knee and tea-length dresses. Similar arrangements were set on each neutral linen-covered table at the reception. Another standout detail was the dessert table. Vanilla raspberry, pina colada and other kinds of cupcakes topped with playful coral and light blue flags surrounded the couple’s single-tier wedding cake. For a personal touch, they used two blue owls as the topper and covered the base with coral sugar. After a night of dinner, sweets and dancing, Shellsea and Luis thought what reflected them most were the special moments they shared with friends and family, she says.
