A Simple Vintage Wedding at Krohn Conservatory in Cincinnati, Ohio
While they were dating, Rebekah Wurzback (27 and an occupational therapist) and Nick Music (27 and a physician assistant) went pumpkin picking and selected a few to carve later on that day. Once they got home, Nick convinced Rebekah to carve their pumpkins without seeing each other’s until they were finished. When Nick revealed his creation, it read, “Marry me,” and Rebekah responded with a “Yes!” The couple wanted to get married in Cincinnati, Ohio, where they had begun their lives together. They found Krohn Conservatory and fell in love with the space that would give them a natural ambience, regardless of the weather! The purple bridesmaid dresses blended perfectly with the rich greens of the conservatory, so the color palette of purple and green was based off of that contrast to help create their simple, vintage wedding with natural detail. The couple was married inside the conservatory at the white-draped wedding arch, decorated with lush purple, fuchsia and ivory flower arrangements. Inside the white-tented reception, dining tables with white and purple linens were decorated with small arrangements of stock and roses next to elegant lanterns. Guests took home small succulents with DIY covers that read “Let Love Grow” to remember their special day.
