A Simple, Traditional Wedding at Avion on the Water in Canfield, Ohio
Emily Jones (25, a hairstylist) and Bryan Kobylanski (28, a concrete finisher) met when they were partners during a game night that was thrown by Emily’s friend. Six years later, Bryan happened to go to the same bar Emily bartended at and officially asked her out on a date (better late than never!) Shortly after having their first child together, Bryan officially proposed to Emily in the comfort of their own home. The couple had their wedding ceremony at St. James Meeting House in Boardman, Ohio because of its traditional elements. They had custom-made Converse tennis shoes made for their wedding day, which both the flower girls matched with their pink ones. Emily’s favorite color was pink, so she matched shades from pale to fuchsia with a turquoise hue for the wedding color palette. Rose and hydrangea arrangements were visible throughout the wedding day, with the occasional succulent added into the mix. The cocktail hour and reception was held at Avion on the Water, where guests helped themselves to fruit and cheese tables while finding where their assigned seats were for the evening. Place cards had another function as picture frames for pictures taken in the photo booth. Symbolic songs picked by the bride, groom, family and friends played throughout the night, reflecting the couple as well as their loved ones that attended their special day.
