A Simple, Rustic Wedding Lake Oak Meadow in Temecula, California
Bennsey Johnson (27 and an event coordinator) and Scott Holst (26 and a manufacturer’s representative) met while they were attending the University of California, Riverside. They were at a sorority/fraternity social and discovered the many things they had in common. Bennsey and Scott had been together for over three years when they traveled to visit family in Florida. The couple went to the Magic Kingdom in Disney World and was making their way to Cinderella’s Castle to take family photos. While Bennsey and Scott were taking pictures together, he got down on one knee and proposed with a diamond ring. The couple booked Lake Oak Meadows in Temecula, California for their rustic, elegant outdoor wedding. Bennsey wore a champagne wedding dress with a matching ribbon tied at the back and a lace overlay on top. Scott wore a gray suit that was lighter than his groomsmen complemented with a gray-checkered dress shirt. The theme of the wedding was rustic-country with DIY elements, such as the centerpieces made of wine bottles filled with baby’s breath and a table number in the mix. The three-tiered wedding cake was iced with buttercream and had flavors of French vanilla with Bavarian, chocolate fudge with chocolate cream and red velvet with cream cheese.
