Julianne Griffin (29 and a public relations professional) and Chris Griffin (31 and a conservation and forestry professional) wanted a simple, personal wedding outdoors with close friends and family, which the Riverwood Inn in Springdale, Newfoundland and Labrador, provided perfectly. "In our eyes, it was rustic and beautiful and a lovely location by a river," Julianne says. Inspired by their location and their love of outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, and camping, the couple chose a simple, rustic theme, which went with their surroundings. Simple flower arrangements of baby's breath and hydrangeas were paired with burlap and candles. "Everything came together perfectly, and we couldn't have been happier with the result," Julianne says. "The entire process was laid-back, relaxed and minimal."

Rustic wooden bookmarks were given as favors to guests, an homage to Chris's father, who loved to read.
Delicious white and sage frosted cupcakes were served to guests for dessert.
Bunches of baby's breath were displayed in mason jars for the simple, rustic centerpieces.
The escort cards were handwritten on brown paper gift tags and pinned with tiny clothespins on strings of twine.
The wedding program was painted on a wooden "Welcome" sign at the Riverwood Inn in Springdale, Newfoundland and Labrador.
