A Simple, Rustic Wedding at Pine Ridge Plantation in Okeechobee, Florida

Between the wood-inspired wedding cake and shabby-chic photo collage, Tara Clark (26) and Daryl Clark’s (26) wedding was filled with sweet, rustic details. The couple started their day with a simple outdoor ceremony at Pine Ridge Plantation. Lines of personal photos in white frames were hung along the aisle in wooden posts as guests took their seats in white chairs. n wooden wedding arch marked the altar space as Daryl stood by in a casual, neutral vest and jeans. Tara made her entrance in a classic white lace wedding dress. “I loved my dress,” Tara says. She paired its sweetheart neckline and mermaid style with an elbow-length veil and simple jewelry. After the couple shared their first kiss, all were treated to a fun reception. Music from their DJ, Above and Beyond Entertainment, played in the background as guests took their seats at wooden picnic tables lined with baby’s breath. For a personal touch, each was named after a location the couple had visited. Another detail we love was their wedding cake. One Stop Party Shop and Catering baked a three-tier confection that resembled a wood carving and even included the couple’s initials in a heart. Ivory fabric flowers and a pair of wooden Adirondack chairs served as accents for the marble cake. Photography by Neswick captured every neutral detail, below. Tara shares a tip: “Get a day-of coordinator because, honestly, you cannot do it yourself. I did not plan for one, but a bunch of friends and family stepped up to help.”
