A Simple, Rustic Wedding at Montreat College in Black Mountain, North Carolina
Mary Catherine Nasca (22 and a student) and Samuel Collins (26 and a real estate agent) wanted their wedding to be simple and intimate. They chose a soft blush and gray color palette to add romance to their rustic mountain venue. Mary Catherine loves all things vintage and wanted her wedding to be a little 1940s, a little winter and a little shabby-chic. The couple chose Montreat College in Black Mountain, North Carolina, because Samuel is an alum. The gorgeous, historic space set the tone for the entire wedding theme. Mary Catherine and Samuel chose Gaither Chapel for their ceremony because they loved the high ceilings, gothic chandeliers, natural wood and exposed river stone. Nicole Caudle Photography beautifully captured all the details of the day. One of the best parts was Mary Catherine's vintage-inspired look with her lace wedding dress, birdcage veil and fur stole.
