A Simple, Rustic Wedding at Isola Farms in Groveland, Florida

From the mixed lantern centerpieces to the mason jar accents, everything about Maggie Parker (25 and a physical therapist) and Chad Hodges’s (26 and a sales associate) wedding was simple and rustic. Loni Elizabeth Photography captured every green and neutral detail of the day, which started with an outdoor ceremony at Isola Farms and ended in a country line-dance party. The team at Kim E.'s Flowers added a few bright accents against their mixed lantern and candle reception decor. Each bridesmaid paired her hunter green floor-length dress with a natural, burlap-wrapped arrangement of sunflowers, succulents, white calla lilies, white alstroemerias and orange stock. Maggie’s bouquet stood out with two distinctive touches: scabiosa pods and orange calla lilies, which were also in the groom’s boutonniere. Another sweet and notable detail at the wedding was Maggie and Chad’s table runners. Exposed-wood tables at the reception were met with various lanterns, candles and mixed chairs. What stood out among them were the burlap and lace runners handmade by Maggie’s mom. Each added a personal touch to the day and complemented the couple’s mason jar accents with similar decorations. For future couples, Maggie shares a tip: “Try not to stress out. It is an extremely hard thing to do and many times the stress got the best of me, but enjoy as much of it as possible. It goes by so quickly.”
