A Simple, Rustic Wedding at Bella Collina Towne and Golf Club in San Clemente, California

Catherine Chu (29, an information technology planner) and George Hsia (42, an information technology manager) met while they were both in Taiwan on a business trip. Catherine introduced herself when she saw George at her church for the very first time. After a few weeks of playing hard to get, Catherine went on a dinner date with George and they hit it off. George had been saving a diamond ring for 16 years waiting for the right person to come along, and knew only months after dating Catherine that she was the one. George planned a hike to the tallest point in Taipei, Taiwan where they would have a huge picnic with all of Catherine’s favorite foods. As they were about to embark, Catherine spotted a ring box in their camera bag and anxiously waited for George to propose hours later. The couple got married at the rustic Bella Collina Towne and Golf Club in San Clemente, California where they had an outdoor ceremony and reception with over 300 guests. The landscape complimented their rustic themed wedding style, decorated with olive branches, candle votives and strung cafe lights. The bride walked down the aisle wearing a Very Wang ivory wedding dress while the groom wore a navy blue suit with a silver tie. They were married under a ceremonial arch with, eucalyptus, white hydrangeas, olive branches, cream roses and Italian ruscus. “We wanted our guests to feel the love of our Heavenly Father in a real and tangible way,” says Catherine. “With all of our big and small decisions for the wedding, we prayed that God's glory would shine above all else.”
