A Simple Pink Wedding at Top of the Bay in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland
Shanae Hansboro (28 and in health-care management) and Tyrone Hansboro (25 and an engineer) had a gorgeous spring wedding at Top of the Bay. In keeping with the season, they chose a color palette of pink and ivory, and they weren't afraid to incorporate it into their wedding party style. Shanae's bridesmaids wore pretty knee-length dresses in light pink that featured lace overlay one-shoulder necklines. The groomsmen wore Vera Wang tuxedos with pale pink vests and ties. Tyrone wore the same tux, but he distinguished himself by wearing a black vest and tie. Shanae herself looked beautiful in a lace trumpet-style Sottero and Midgley wedding dress, which she wore with an ivory sash and paired with a blusher veil for the ceremony. To incorporate the wedding colors into her look, she carried a bouquet with pink David Austin roses, pink spray roses and white hydrangeas. Even the favors tied in with the color palette, with pink, red and silver Hershey's chocolates in little "Love is Sweet" bags. In addition to the chocolates, Shanae and Tyrone treated their guests to cupcakes for dessert. They ended the night dancing, starting off the dance floor with a first dance to Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud." Manda Weaver Photography was there to capture all the great moments.
