A Simple Wedding at Saint Katherine Greek Orthodox Church in Naples, Florida
Six years after Casey Bollenback (25 and a beach patrol specialist) and Julian Halitaj (25 and a server) met in high school, he popped the question with a round-cut diamond ring. With a two year engagement, the couple had plenty of time to plan their simple wedding in Naples, Florida. "I was absolutely obsessed with the colors gold and charcoal together," says Casey. "I decided I would use these colors right from the beginning. I wanted to keep everything simple but elegant." The couple chose Casey's favorite childhood park, Lowdermilk Park, for the ceremony venue. Rows of white folding chairs faced the ocean as the couple said "I do" under a Banyan tree. Casey and Julian's 200 guests then moved to Saint Katherine Greek Orthodox Church for an indoor reception. Friends and family members were welcomed with lemon drop martini signature drinks as they took their seats among white linen-covered round and family-style tables. "We wanted our guests to feel at home and comfortable with open bottles of wine on the table," says Casey. Each was complemented with gold glass bottle centerpieces filled with white roses and calla lilies. Casey, Julian and their guests were treated to a three-tier champagne wedding cake with raspberry filling before they spent the rest of the night on the dance floor. "I think the best part of the day was celebrating and dancing with our friends and family," says Casey.
