A Simple Outdoor Wedding at Grass Lawn in Gulfport, Mississippi

Courtney Cuevas and Ashton Lowery planned a simple outdoor wedding filled with blue, black and white details. The couple chose Grass Lawn in Gulfport, Mississippi as their venue and highlighted the natural setting with minimal decor. A wooden wedding arch draped with white fabric was placed at the head of the aisle, defining the ceremony space. Each post was accented with greenery below blue and white ribbons. Courtney's blue fringe cowboy boots served as a pop of color as she walked down the aisle in a strapless white lace wedding dress. Guests watched from white fabric-covered chairs surrounding round tables as the couple said "I do." After the ceremony, all enjoyed a cocktail hour along the venue’s patio. Cocktail tables were met with blue satin linens and bold black sashes. Frosted blue glass bulb vases filled with white flowers served as the centerpieces. Courtney and Ashton joined their guests for a fun outdoor reception complete with a three-tier ivory wedding cake. For a personal touch, It was topped with a rhinestone “L” to represent the couple’s last name. Courtney and Ashton spent their celebration dancing around a black-and-white checkerboard dance floor with friends and family. Before the party ended, each guest was given with a personalized black-and-white koozie wedding favor.
