A Simple Oceanside Wedding at L'Auberge Del Mar in California

Krysta Cordill and Jimmy Kelly wed in a modern waterfront ceremony at L'Auberge Del Mar in Del Mar, California. “The wedding was bursting with love and pops of vibrant colors, filled with sweet nods to the couple’s favorite things, all tied in with hints of the sea,” the wedding planner says. Krysta carried a simple white bouquet filled with greenery. The ceremony décor reflected the pair’s simple tastes and included candle-filled lanterns, an altar with peach-hued flowers and parasols for guests. The reception also incorporated many personal touches. The escort cards, for example, were made of sea glass. “Sea glass hunting is one of our favorite things to do as a couple and family,” Krysta says. Wood lanterns transformed from aisle decorations into centerpieces—but the kids’ table had an Up-movie-inspired centerpiece with a wood house and balloons. At the reception, guests enjoyed magical string lights, a traditional three-tier wedding cake and the couple's adorable pup.
