A Simple, Intimate Wedding at Potomac Point Winery in Stafford, Virginia

Jillian Dordea (32 and a nurse) and Jesse Knight (32 and a marine) heard all about each other before they ever met. Their best friends were married to each other, but somehow Jillian and Jesse never ran into each other. Jillian decided to go ahead and add Jesse on Facebook regardless, and their relationship took flight from there. Jesse proposed to Jillian at their favorite vineyard, Potomac Point Winery, in Stafford, Virginia. They decided to celebrate their vows at this sentimental place and share it with their loved ones. Jillian and Jesse's fall reception was warm and intimate in the vineyard's rustic Barrel Room, which features beautiful stone arches and candelabra chandeliers. They kept their decor simple, with a variety of candles illuminating the stately, long dining table. Jillian opted to forgo any floral design at her wedding. Instead of a bouquet of flowers, she carried an arrangement of symbolic brooches from friends and family. "This let everyone play a role in the wedding, and it was perfect," says Jillian. "We wanted everything at our wedding to be meaningful, memorable, low stress and beautiful."
