Anna Swisher (29 and an actuary) and Scott Bunger (28 and a business developer) met at a late night party at their college in Nebraska. Connected by their fist pumping to the same song across the room, they began their life together and moved to Chicago. After seven years of dating, they were finally ready to call each other Mr. and Mrs. Scott Bunger. Scott’s proposal started with a romantic dinner and ended with their friends surprising them later that night at their favorite dance spot. With the attendance of their friends and family a top priority, Anna and Scott knew the wedding had to be home in Nebraska. They chose the First Unitarian Church to exchange their vows because of the they both loved the light, airy ambiance. To match the simplicity of the venue, Anna and Scott chose a color palette of black, white, and gold with accents of raspberry and plum, seen in the ranunculus and rose centerpieces and bouquets. These bold bright colors complemented the reception space, The Paxton Ballroom, which was able to project Casablanca during the dinner and first dance to add one of the many unique touches to the evening. Anna and Scott also chose fun musical selections to make the reception even more special for their guests. “Towards the end of our reception, we wanted music videos playing on the projector screen,” says Anna,  which reminded the couple of their favorite Chicago bar which played classic 80s and 90s videos. "Our dance floor was packed to the end, so I'll take that as a sign of success!”
