Erika Davidiuk (26 and in health insurance) and Jason Davidiuk (30 and in banking) knew each other as children, reconnected during Christmas and became engaged about three years later in a local park. With their shared love of nature in mind, the couple spent 18 months working to plan a green and white outdoor wedding with the help of a friend from Amber Veatch Designs. The Cypress Grove Estate House was chosen as their venue, “We wanted a simple and natural style,” says Erika. “White ranunculus were the only flowers we used since the park was so beautifully landscaped.” A nearby lake served as their backdrop and main decor. Erika and Jason highlighted the space and used only simple white folding chairs to accent the ceremony. After the couple said "I do," their celebration continued with an outdoor reception. String lighting was hung overhead as white linens, burlap runners and DIY glass wine bottle centerpieces filled with white ranunculus were set on each round table. The couple treated their guests to a fun dinner complete with seasoned chicken, onions and peppers to resemble fajitas, platanos (fried plantains) and a four-tier white wedding cake. For a natural twist, the confection was  accented with green ribbon and vines. Erika, Jason spent the rest of their night dancing to a DJ and their favorite songs. For future couples, Erika shares: “While the wedding day is fun and exciting, it's the marriage that is most important. Never forget that, and you will be set!”

Erika paired her white lace wedding dress with a full white ranunculus bouquet. Ranunculus were the only flowers Erika and Jason wanted at their wedding.
Erika chose a white wedding dress with a keyhole back and lace overlay. She paired the look with a white floral accent in her down hairstyle.

To complement their outdoor setting, each bridesmaid wore a green, strapless, knee-length dress with a curled down or updo hairstyle. The dresses were paired with all-white ranunculus bouquets.
Erika complemented her outdoor setting and wore a white lace wedding dress with white peep-toe shoes and a white floral accent in her down hairstyle. She completed the look and carried an all-white ranunculus bouquet down the aisle.
Highlighting their outdoor setting, Erika and Jason decorated the ceremony with just simple white folding chairs facing a lake.
Jason and his groomsmen waited at the head of the ceremony aisle during Erika's processional. White ranunculus boutonnieres and green ties accented their khaki suits.
Erika and Jason had an outdoor ceremony as 120 friends and family members watched from rows of white folding chairs.
Erika and Jason were wed near the same park they visited on their first dating anniversary, Cypress Grove. When it was time to pick their wedding venue, both Erika and Jason thought of Cypress Grove and presented the option to each other at the same time.
