A Simple Garden Wedding at the Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis, Missouri

Grace, 26, a phD student, and Dan, 25, a senior analyst, met in college at the University of Chicago. Six years later, Dan proposed. Grace always wanted a garden wedding where there would be green everywhere. They decided on an intimate, outdoor ceremony in the Gladney Rose Garden followed by a reception in the Spink Pavilion, both at the Missouri Botanical Gardens. “The gardens were so beautiful by themselves that we didn’t need decorations,” Grace says. The couple had a simple, classic wedding complete with a neutral color palette with shades of white and pink. “I imagined a wedding with soft, romantic colors that were understated but classic and elegant,” Grace says. “We wanted guests to feel happy, comfortable and enjoy the evening.”
