A Simple Elopement at Vista West Ranch in Dripping Springs, Texas
Dianna Charron (18, Homemaker) and Micah Baylor (19, Sales Professional) met as fellow baristas at their local Starbucks. The two worked together for six months before sitting together and having their first real conversation. Weeks later, Dianna and Micah went to a friend’s house warming party where they sat together and chatted for hours. After sharing their first kiss that night, the two became inseparable. One month into their new relationship, the couple began looking at venues online, knowing wedding bells were in the very near future. On May 17, 2014 Micah treated Dianna to a four-course meal at her favorite restaurant. After dinner, Micah eagerly led Dianna on a walk through Sugar Land Town Square. At the center of the square’s grassy lounge area stood an easel holding a sign created by the groom-to-be. The hand-painted canvas boasted the question “Will you marry me” in Micah’s script. As soon as Dianna saw the words Micah dropped to one knee and presented her with a meaningful heirloom diamond engagement ring. Micah designed the ring, which featured a new round stone flanked by two diamonds from his grandmother’s wedding ring. After a five month long engagement Micah and Dianna became Mr. and Mrs. Baylor at Vista West Ranch in Dripping Springs, Texas on October 8, 2014. Surrounded by 23 of their closest family members, Micah and Dianna said ‘I do’ during an outdoor Christian ceremony.
