A Simple, Elegant Wedding at Park Place in Shafter, California

Lacey Meeks (30 and a Well Analyst) and Jeff James (28 and a Well Analyst) met while they were working at the same company and got to know each other more during a work social event. Lacey and Jeffrey eventually started hanging out on the weekends, going on dates and developing both a friendship and a serious relationship. After seven months of dating, the couple were happy to find out they would be expecting a baby boy. At Lacey’s baby shower, Jeffrey showed up with a huge cardboard box that read, “Because all that really matters to me is you” with a proposal that followed. The couple had their wedding at The Park Place in Shafter, California, surrounded by lush landscaping with a water fountain and lake. The elegant wedding ceremony took place outside on the lawn right in front of a white gazebo, and simple reception took place at the indoor venue on the property. Dining table linens, floral centerpieces and wedding day attire were decked out in the coral, guava and gray palette. Guests enjoyed an ivory wedding cake decorated with coral sugar flowers at the end of their meal, then danced the night away in celebration of the newly married couple.
