A Colorful Wedding at Artwork Network in Denver, Colorado

Simple and colorful were the perfect pair at Laura Shaw (a scientist) and James Scott-Browne's (also a scientist) classic art gallery wedding. Hey! Party Collective worked with the couple to ensure they got hitched without a hitch, especially since Laura and James were planning the whole soiree from California. “Hiring the badass Hey! Party Collective girls was probably one of the best decisions we made during the entire process," Laura says. "They are supercool and totally got our vision at every turn. They got what we were going for and made sure everything was scheduled down to the last second. I didn't have to worry about a thing once it was in their hands.” For their venue, they chose Artwork Network in Denver, Colorado, for its high ceilings, huge windows and exposed brick. “We wanted a space that felt open and modern, but would feel cozy and welcoming to all our guests,” Laura says. The couple used an eclectic orange, red, yellow, purple, green and gray color palette, and all the details were beautifully captured by Rebecca Ellison Photography. “A majority of our guests were from out of town, so when we were planning our wedding, we really just wanted to have a fun weekend and give our guests a glimpse of why Denver is such a cool city,” Laura says. “Our favorite part was being in a roomful of the people who meant the most to us in this world and knowing they were there because they loved us. Everyone should get to experience that."
