A Simple, Classic Wedding at Smith-Douglas-More House in Eden Prairie, Minnesota

A historic farmhouse turned coffee shop drove the Sabrina Soh (28 and a device analyst) and Ilya Ellern’s (28 and an equipment engineer) minimalist theme, with dark green and pink adding summertime color.

The ceremony took place behind the farmhouse, beneath a giant elm tree and beside a scenic hosta garden. “We wanted a smaller space with distinct charm,” Sabrina says of their intimate venue that accommodated 62 guests. Décor was kept to a minimum to complement the rustic feel of the farmhouse.

Sabrina carried a garden-fresh bunch of pink garden roses, wildflowers and seeded eucalyptus.
