A Simple, Bright Wedding at Springhaven Farm in Madison, Virginia

Rachel Browning (25, in communications) and Matthew Barry (24, manager) were introduced by Rachel's friend, who had invited the two over for a cookout one summer day. Rachel knew that the cookout was a set-up, but Matt thought he was just there to man the grill. Regardless, the pair hit it off immediately, and a year to the day they met, Matt proposed to Rachel in a field on his family's farm, with their two puppies in tow. They decided to get married where they got engaged, at Springhaven Farm in Madison, Virginia, Matt's beautiful family farm that boasts views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Shenandoah Valley. Since the scenery is so jaw-droppingly gorgeous, they opted for a clean and simple color palette of navy blue and white with green accents for their casual farm wedding. By limiting their flower arrangements to white tulips and baby's breath, they kept their decor fresh and neat. The beautiful outdoor ceremony had an altar indicated by an arrangement of vintage windowpanes, creating a cool visual effect with the stunning vistas. Another unique feature at the wedding was the bench that guests could sign instead of a guest book. Chevron navy blue and white table runners and green vases brought pops of color to the tented reception. As a personal touch, Rachel and Matt had their families bake their favorite dessert recipes for the extensive sweets table, and their buttercream wedding cake was topped with replicas of their pet puppies. Rachel and Matt's lovely, bright wedding was gorgeous with its simple color palette and clean design.
