A Simple and Romantic Wedding at the Winterbourne Inn in Orange Park, Florida

Samantha (Sam) Hubel (25 and working in the transportation industry) and Nicholas (Nick) Clark (27 and working in the transportation industry) met during a psychology seminar course at the University of North Florida where Nick caught eyes with Sam and sat next to her. Sam found Nick on Facebook by the next class. After a few messages, they went out on their first date. “For someone Sam said might not make it past date three, he sure made it into her heart,” say says. In August, Nick met Sam after class with a crown headband to ask if she would be his princess. A few years later, Sam’s brother and parents for their permission before he proposed. They were engaged in 2011. The ring’s diamond had been in Nick's family for more than 80 years, says Sam. She and Nick had a simple wedding with burlap and lace accents at the Winterbourne Inn in Orange Park, Florida. “An old-time, romantic feel was the final product,” says Sam. During the reception, the couple’s DJ recounted the couple’s love story as well as played songs requested by the guests on their RSVP cards. “The whole day really reflected us to a ‘T” as a couple,” says Sam.
