A Shabby Chic Wedding at The Hyatt Lodge at McDonald's Campus in Oak Brook, Illinois
Diana Schuda (30 and a teacher) and Kenny Schuda (31 and a human resource coordinator) had a shabby chic wedding with a fresh pink and turquoise color palette. Christine Stone from Tying the Knot worked with the couple to bring the outside in and tie all the gorgeous details together helping to provide a rustic, whimsical feel. Petal Play Design created all the lush floral arrangement for the day, which added a little romance to the shabby chic wedding. “I love pretty blooms, and Vivianna did an amazing job of looking and listening to what I wanted and created beautiful floral arrangements for the day,” Diana says. The couple chose The Hyatt Lodge at McDonald's Campus in Oak Brook, Illinois, because it had an organic, natural feel that allowed them to flawlessly bring the outside in, plus, it was a hotel—perfect for the out-of-town guests! One of the best parts, though, was the DIY details, which made the wedding all that much more personal. “My maid of honor, owner of Duryea Place Designs on Etsy was fantastic, and I couldn’t have done it without her,” Diana says. “She made so many details that really just made the event shine. It was exactly how we wanted it.” See all the amazing details, beautifully captured by Brittany Lynn Studios, below.
