A Shabby-Chic Wedding at Homestead 1835 in New Carlisle, Indiana
Knowing they wanted the ultimate shabby-chic soiree, Haley Shroyer (23 and a day care teacher) and Exavier Wigfall (25 and a corrections officer) filled their day with wildflowers, mason jars and burlap to bring their vision to life. They softened the rustic look with a mint and lavender palette that added plenty of romance throughout the decor. It was a bonus that their venue, Homestead 1835 in New Carlisle, Indiana, had a natural country aura with lush fields for the ceremony and wagon-wheel chandeliers in the barn. "The Homestead didn't need a bunch of decorating because the farm is so beautiful," Haley says. One of our favorite details was the textured lisianthus and wildflower florals, gorgeously arranged by Always N Bloom. They brought the outside in, adding a pop of color to the farm location. From the meaningful, religious ceremony to the alternative cheesecake dessert, there's so much to love about Haley and Exavier's wedding.
