A Shabby Chic Wedding at a Private Residence in Boise, Idaho

Mandy Desaro (27 and a nail tech) and Justin Ludwig (28 and a power lineman) used pink as their main color and added purple and gold accents for a perfect mix between classic, feminine and romantic. The couple did all the details themselves—everything from the classic rose floral arrangements to the pink tulle aisle decor to the four-tier wedding cake. “You really can save a lot of money with DIY,” Mandy says. “Don't DIY unless you have months to get things done! We found that making everything for our wedding really brought us together and gave us a lot of bonding time that we would have missed by hiring someone to do everything. When we looked at our finished product, we had so much pride in the amazing wedding that we put together all by ourselves. It really made our day that much more special.”
