rn High school sweethearts Amanda Merrihew (20 and a photographer) and Austin Callaway (20 and works in construction) were married in a charming shabby-chic wedding on Austin's family's property in Modesto, California. "Both of his brothers got married there, so it was special not only to have it there but to make it our own," Amanda says. Amanda loves neutral and pastel hues, and worked within those palettes to add elegance to their rustic barn venue. Peonies (her favorite flower) showed up throughout the day's decor—from the bridesmaid bouquets to the lush tablescape—softening up the strong wooden elements. For her own look, Amanda kept things simple, adding only a pair of statement earrings and a crystal-embellished sash to her strapless, A-line gown.
