A Serene, Romantic Wedding at Succop Nature Park in Butler, Pennsylvania
The lush landscape surrounding the rustic build of the outdoor event shelter located at Succop Nature Park in Butler, Pennsylvania, created a serene atmosphere for this romantic wedding. Laura Butter (28 and a teacher) and Brian Showman (28 and in construction) were won over by the natural space, surrounding ponds and historic mansion on the property that served as their backdrop. Photography by Lyndsey captured the pastel palette of pink, purple and peach, reflected within Laura's peony, rose and stock bouquet that was arranged by Posy. Laura wore a romantic off-the-shoulder ivory wedding dress, with straps made of fabric flowers and the mermaid-style silhouette accented in lace. An outdoor reception followed the traditional church ceremony, which took place underneath the event shelter with the wooden ceiling strung with twinkling lights. Table assignments were printed on white stationery with wreath designs depicting blooms and greenery, displayed on a white-framed board. Laura and Brian were seated at their white folding chairs marked on the back with pink and white hanging signs that read "Mr." and "Mrs." Our favorite detail was the classic three-tier wedding cake with fresh pink roses and a floral sign on top that depicted their first names. "Our outdoor venue created the perfect atmosphere for a fun and relaxed occasion," Laura says. "We enjoyed our evening of dancing, laughing and eating with our closest friends and family."
