Megan and Craig bumped into each other at a mutual friend's birthday party 17 years after their fourth-grade romance fizzled. The Bride Megan Shirley, 27 and a freelance graphic designer and illustrator The Groom Craig Manning, 27 and a paralegal at Wilson Turner Kosmo LLP The Date June 12 As a nod to their grade-school romance, Megan and Craig came up with a schoolhouse theme, complete with paper airplanes and marble notebooks. They worked with Megan's favorite color combo, purple and gray.

In addition to the cake, dessert included specialties of Megan and Craig’s family members, such as his stepdad’s individual cherry pies.
Craig’s succulent and button pom-pom boutonniere was tied with black and white ribbon to match his striped bow tie.
Megan designed these paper airplanes for guests to toss after the ceremony.
The couple exchanged vows on the first level of the NCM, beneath one of their favorite museum features -- this tall wooden sculpture.
The New Children’s Museum in downtown San Diego perfectly fit Megan and Craig’s fun-loving personalities and played into their theme as well.
Megan and Craig's baker went all out -- from the paper airplanes to the Jonathan Adler toppers and the top PB&J cake tier!
