A Rustic Winter Wedding at Strathmere in North Gower, Ontario

Amanda Wilkinson (31, a Daycare Provider/Owner) and Russell McIsaac (28, a Roofing Foreman) held their winter wedding at the lodge at Strathmere in North Gower, Ontario. "Strathmere suited our winter wedding and the lodge fit right in with our rustic theme," Amanda says. A color palette of red, white and black complemented the winter scenery perfectly. The couple fully embraced their winter theme with Amanda wearing a fur lined cape, the bridesmaids wearing white fur muffs in lieu of carrying bouquets and a cocktail hour where warm apple cider garnished with cinnamon sticks and hot chocolate  with peppermint schnapps were served.
