A Rustic Wildflower-Inspired Wedding at BruMar Estate in Bigfork, Montana
Molly Stack (32 and a consultant) and Brandon Judge (34 and a project manager) met at a party. Brandon surprised Molly after a hike in Yosemite with an engagement ring. She'd carried it up to the top of North Dome in her backpack. The couple knew they wanted to get married outside, and since Brandon grew up in Flathead Valley in Montana, it seemed like an obvious choice. They loved the indoor and outdoor options, rustic pine tree backdrop and simple ballroom. Also, BruMar was a all-inclusive venue, so the couple didn’t have to make too many decisions for their destination wedding. The couple exchanged vows under a rustic aspen tree arbor and had a ring warming ceremony where they passed the rings around the congregation so each guest could give a little blessing or wish to the couple (which their guests loved!). Afterwards, they had cocktail hour with two signature cocktails, freckle juice (lovingly named for the bride) and B’s Knee (for the groom, Brandon). The couple used shades of red, blue, gray, yellow and green to decorate their wildflower-inspired wedding. The couple worked with Conrad Floral to create the lush, colorful floral arrangements including blackberries in the boutonnieres.
