A Rustic, Western Wedding at Diamond Cross Ranch in Moran, Wyoming
Katy Brown (a lawyer) and Jake Tremel (a supervisor in the oil and gas industry) wanted the perfect balance of a traditional wedding with a fun, happy, good old Wyoming vibe. With the help of Kathi Michel at Special Events Jackson Hole, Katy and Jake combined shabby-chic details such as sequined table linens topped gold antler centerpieces in a rustic barn complete with a sawdust-covered floor. “Things like that were just perfect,” Katy says. Diamond Cross Ranch in Moran, Wyoming, was the perfect backdrop with its stunning mountain views, rustic barn and fields of horses. “One of the best memories of our wedding was when the ranch owner unlatched a fence and a massive group of horses came running across the pasture,” Katy says. “With all with the Tetons stunningly sitting in the background, it was something out of a movie.” One of our favorite details was the stunning florals from Magnolia Ranch that combined bright pink pops of color (Katy’s favorite) with more neutral white and green foliage. “Our florist did a wonderful job of understanding our vision,” Katy says. There are so many details we love about this western wedding—see them all, captured by Heather Erson Photography, below.
