The Bride Jody Kenneally, 28, a pediatric nurse practitioner at Commonwealth Care Alliance The Groom Jon Chase, 32, a bartender at The Harp The Date September 18 For their backyard nuptials at Jody’s parents’ summer house, the couple included lots of rustic touches and a color palette of tan, ivory, brown and yellow.

The sugar flowers cascading down the five-tiered cake were inspired by the ones on Jody’s dress.
Jody printed the menu cards on ivory paper, backed them with brown kraft paper and wrapped them in yellow and white baker’s twine.
Jody worked with a Boston candlemaker to create custom candles, which she packaged in bags with thank-you tags attached.
Yellow, white and brown flip-flops were organized by size in vintage wire baskets near the dance floor.
Outdoor Tented Reception
For her “something old,” Jody’s white bouquet of freesias, ranunculus and wildflowers was wrapped in her grandma’s rosary beads.
Jody gave this embroidered handkerchief to her flower girl in the hopes it will be her “something old” when she gets married.
The bridesmaids wore yellow chiffon dresses, while the guys kept it casual in tan suits.
The signature drinks were written out in white and yellow on a chalkboard at the bar.
Wooden Wedding Sign
The couple’s initials were “carved” into their ring pillow with the wedding date.
Brown kraft paper tags with guests’ names and table assignments were hung from twine with mini clothespins.
