Hinako was at The Sunburnt Cow in New York City to watch her friend deejay when that friend introduced her to Reflection. They talked briefly, then ended up at the same bar later that night, but nothing came of it. A couple of months later, Hinako went to see her friend deejay at the same place, surprised to realize Reflection had changed restaurants and worked there. The couple incorporated the tomato theme into the menu with tomato juice and a tomato cocktail with vodka.
