The Bride Julie Longenecker, 25, owner and lead designer of Ten Four Paper The Groom Matthew Goette, 25, a graduate student in biomedical engineering at Washington University in St. Louis The Date May 14 Instead of a big downtown wedding, Julie and Matt headed out of St. Louis to the suburbs to host an inviting teal and spring green wedding with a combination of rustic and modern elements.

Green napkins were folded into pockets for the menus, which were printed in teal and spring green on white cardstock.
The couple’s engagement photos were numbered and placed in silver frames to serve as table numbers.
Julie scored over 300 mini wine bottles for free from Busch Stadium. Each bottle held a green or white flower and a tag noting the guest’s name and table.
A single green orchid was affixed to a teal, green and silver wire design.
Each table was topped with a large arrangement of hydrangeas, bells of Ireland and stock with scattered blue Mason jars filled with white blooms nearby.
Teal dresses in different styles were the perfect fit for Julie’s bridesmaids. The groomsmen wore gray tuxes with matching teal ties.
Matt’s fun, patterned socks coordinated perfectly with Julie’s dark teal Kate Spade pumps.
The programs matched the story-telling feel of the invitations and used classic typography in a vibrant teal and spring green palette.
Matt built the square cupcake tower which was topped with a mini cutting cake and paper sculpture of the couple and their dog.
Julie’s halo-style engagement ring was complemented by a diamond band. Matt chose a simple ring with a combination of brushed and satin finishes.
Unable to pick just one, Julie and Matt chose five flavors of cupcakes for their guests to enjoy. Each cupcake was topped with a teal and green frosting flower.
Julie’s bouquet of hydrangeas, orchids and roses featured green wire with beading threaded through the flowers. Her bridesmaids each carried a unique bouquet of blooms.
