A Rustic Wedding at Grand Oaks Resort and Museum in Lady Lake, Florida

As laid-back, country people, Amanda Mueller (28 and a medical technician) and Charles Dennin Jr. (33 and an industrial maintenance mechanic) knew from the start that they wanted a rustic wedding. Their venue only enhanced the personalized theme. “As soon as we arrived at the Grand Oaks Resort and Museum, we knew that was it,” Amanda says. “Between the rolling green hills and horses all around, I felt like I was back home in Georgia.” The natural landscape served as the main decor for the ceremony, with only white folding chairs and a single gold calligraphy sign adding to the scene. The reception was completely different. Terri's Eustis Flower Shop made sure every table carried their theme with mason jars of white hydrangeas, bold wooden bases and burlap accents. One detail we really loved was the wedding cake table. They changed things up with a naked cake and two single-tier confections in their favorite flavors: carrot and raspberry chocolate. Charlie's daughter was even part of their cake cutting. See all these sweet details, including a sweet father-daughter dance, captured by Innovative Memories, below.
