A Rustic Wedding at Southern Pines Venue in Lake City, Florida
This wedding could not have been more personalized. Tami Lapham (29 and a teacher) and Brantley Stevens Jr.’s (27 and a student) rustic celebration was held at Southern Pines Venue in Lake City, Florida, a location filled with natural spaces and gorgeous oak trees on his aunt and uncle's property. It even included a few handmade accents by Brantley and his father. Holly Frazier Photography captured every moment of the day, which started with a memorable ceremony presided over by Brantley's uncle Sinclair. Rustic lanterns were hung over the altar as Tami made her entrance in a sweet ivory lace dress by Mikaella Bridal and fingertip-length veil. Brantley met her in a charcoal gray suit and succulent boutonniere. After they exchanged vows, all ended the night with a fun celebration. CC's Flower Villa set each table with rustic arrangements of dusty miller, eucalyptus, and baby’s breath in wooden buckets and mason jars as Imperial Productions, their coordinator, wrapped surrounding chairs with burlap. Another standout detail was Tami and Brantley’s wooden dessert display. Sugar Cakery baked tiers of flavored cupcakes, ranging from strawberries and cream to inside-out peanut butter cup, as well as a simple two-tier wedding cake with yellow flowers. After a few bites, all spent the rest of their night dancing to music from a DJ or snagging pictures in the photo booth. “It was the most fun I ever had at a wedding,” Tami says. “The dance floor stayed packed the whole night.”
