With a palette of sage and lavender, their wedding at Linden Row Inn in Richmond, Virginia, was a vibrant take on country decor. Ashley's bridesmaids wore pretty spring dresses with ruffled necklines in lavender, while her maid of honor wore the same dress in sage. The groomsmen coordinated with the bridesmaids by pairing sage and lavender bow ties with their khaki suits. Ashley carried a pastel bouquet with pops of purple. Even the ivory wedding cake incorporated their colors, with purple cake flowers and green leaves. Rustic details included the kraft paper wedding invites, which Ashley designed herself, and the string lights at the tented ceremony, which took place in the garden at Linden Row Inn. To add a rustic twist to her look, Ashley wore cowboy boots and a pearl necklace with her beautiful trumpet-style dress. And in keeping with the country theme, Ashley and Otto served Southern-style barbecue for dinner. For dessert, they had buttercream cupcakes in addition to the wedding cake. Ashley wore a strapless, trumpet-style dress with a floral sash and a ruffled skirt, which she bought from Tiffany's Bridal. She paired her dress with a fingertip-length veil and styled her hair down for the day.
Ashley's maid of honor wore a sage Alfred Angelo dress with a ruffled neckline. Her bridesmaids wore the same dress in lavender.
Otto and his groomsmen wore khaki suits with bow ties. Otto wore a white bow tie, while the groomsmen wore lavender bow ties. The best man wore a sage bow tie.
Ashley and Otto were married under string lights in a tent in the garden at Linden Row Inn in Richmond, Virginia.
Ashley and Otto's two-tier ivory cake was decorated with white and purple cake flowers and topped with a silver monogram cake topper. The cake was displayed on a tiered stand with vanilla buttercream cupcakes filling out the rest of the stand. These cupcakes were also topped with small purple monogram toppers.
