A Rustic, Vintage Wedding at Southwind Hills in Goldsby, Oklahoma

Lindsay Fritts and Elliott Koskie combined modern and vintage details at their fall wedding. “I have always been obsessed with all things vintage, so when we started planning, we went for a cozy, romantic, vintage vibe,” Lindsay says. “We wanted a lot of rich color that felt like fall, so we decided on deep cranberry red with accents of blush, gold, and greenery.” The color palette first appeared in the bright, vintage-inspired stationery suite, and it continued with the fashion—specifically Lindsay’s velvet heels, the red bridesmaid dresses and the lush bouquets. A mirror that belonged to Elliott's grandmother doubled as a welcome sign for the ceremony, which took place on the wooded grounds of Southwind Hill. The reception had a rustic, romantic vibe with plenty of personal touches, including a velvet sweetheart bench and three different cakes. “We both love The Beatles and decided that for our table number cards, we would have some of our favorite song titles written on each one,” the couple says. “We are also huge Harry Potter fans and had ‘All Was Well’ spelled out in light-up letters behind our cake table. Our cake topper was used in both my mother's wedding in the 1980s and my grandmother's wedding in the 1940s.”
Our favorite #MakeTradition moment: “Elliott is Bahá’í, so we incorporated some Bahá’í readings into our ceremony, as well as a phrase we both repeated during our vows,” the couple says.
