Kelsey King (30, a Nurse Practitioner) and David McCracken (33, Wood Veneer Industry) hail from Chicago, Illinois, but decided to hold a destination wedding in the beautiful mountains of Blowing Rock, North Carolina. Their intimate, laid back wedding was held in Kelsey's father's cabin at the Blue Ridge Mountain Club. A color palette of navy and natural greens brought out the rustic, vintage feel the couple was aiming for. Welcome bags filled with North Carolina goodies, fun, handmade activity books given as favors and homemade carrot cake cupcakes gave Kelsey and Dave's wedding their unique, personal touch. "I think the inviting, laid back and loving atmosphere best reflected us as a couple and what we wanted our day, and ultimately, our future, to be about," Kelsey says.
