A Rustic Vintage-Inspired Wedding at Blackthorn Club in Jonesborough, Tennessee

Emily Dillow (27 and a credentialing coordinator) and Michael Dillow (27 and a teacher) had a rustic wedding that reflected their vintage style with pops of bright colors. “I chose this theme because I love the antique look,” Emily says. “We used a lot of burlap, which is something I use a lot in my home decor.” The unity candle and dining tables had accents of burlap—even the wedding cake by Cakebuds had burlap fabric flowers that looked like they came right out of a vintage catalog. The palette of turquoise and coral added modern touches throughout the day, most notably in the couple’s stunning wedding arch. Woven branches with vibrant colorful flowers surrounded by ferns created a beautiful backdrop as Emily and Michael exchanged their vows at Blackthorn Club in Jonesborough, Tennessee. Another standout detail? Michael went contemporary with his sports-themed groom’s cake, with each tier dedicated to his favorite baseball, basketball and football teams.
