Kristin Lloyd (24, an office assistant) and Dustin Bernard (28, a city employee) first met each other through a mutual friend at Laguna Beach and immediately felt a connection. After dating for some time, Dustin brought Kristin to the beach one day but mentioned he had to go back to the car because he forgot something, and surprised her with a golden retriever puppy wearing a heart shaped collar that read "Will you marry me?" The couple got married at the Villa de Amore in Temecula, California that gave off a rustic and country feel with a gorgeous view of the vineyards in a private setting. The wedding day was filled and decorated with burlap accents, from the burlap leaf boutonnieres and bridal bouquet to the burlap tied around the invitations the wedding favor honey jars in burlap bags that read "Meant to bee." White and green hydrangea centerpieces and arrangements decorated the space as well. "I think the fact that our wedding was very simple and casual best reflected who we are as a couple," says Kristin. "We love the outdoors and our venue was the perfect fit for us. I loved that our guests were able to have fun and take home a memory of our wedding day."
