A Rustic, Sunset-Inspired Wedding at Lago Giuseppe Winery in Templeton, California

Who doesn't love a good sunset? Through the purple, magenta and orange palette that decorated this rustic vineyard venue, it was obvious that this couple does. "Mike and I love a good sunset, so we created our palette around sunset colors," Tressa Oliviera (33 and an event coordinator) says of her marriage to Mike Giese (30 and a brand manager). "It all came together just as I envisioned." The couple had their outdoor wedding where they met, at Lago Giuseppe Winery in Templeton, California, a vineyard surrounded by giant oak trees and a beautiful lake, captured on camera by Anna Delores Photography. Guests were welcomed through invitations printed on white stationery with navy blue text and an orange ombre accenting the top, reflecting the sunset palette. Mason jars filled with chrysanthemums, roses and calla lilies hung from a single orange ribbon that was draped over the area where the couple said their vows, arranged with the help of Vanessa Noel Events. At the outdoor reception that followed, long wooden dining tables draped with coral runners were decorated with colorful flower arrangements inside glass wine bottles and wooden boxes. Circular escort tags were wrapped around the necks of personalized wineglasses that each guest received, which also doubled as favors to take home. We absolutely loved the bouquets that the bride and her bridesmaid held, which truly embodied the sunset palette through its roses, peonies, calla lilies and chrysanthemums tied together with a patterned wrap. "Gorgeous weather, a lovely venue, delicious food, great music and epic dancing all contributed to our perfect day," Tressa says.
