A Rustic Wedding Weekend at Ogontz White Mountain Camp in Lyman, New Hampshire

With Ogontz Lake and a sprawling campground at their disposal, Cecilie Pope (29 and a ballroom dance costume designer) and Stan Gelzhinsky (31 and a professional poker player) invited nearly 200 guests to a weekend filled with swimming, potato sack races, Olympic-style relays and, of course, a wedding. “We wanted it to feel like an adult camp—no electronics and no distractions,” Cecilie says. Wood invitations, flashlight favors, lawn games and marshmallow treats roasted fireside made for a nostalgic three-day bash at the same camp that the bride attended when she was little.
