Inspired by rural but chic weddings, Jaime Guy (29 and a nurse practitioner) and Eric Finch (29 and a private wealth advisor) planned a celebration full of Old Florida charm. “We were looking for a rustic but classy wedding venue near my hometown,” Jaime says. “Since Eric and I were living in Los Angeles at the time, I asked my parents to tour [venues], and they were completely blown away by the natural beauty. After seeing pictures and videos, we booked our wedding venue without ever seeing it in person!” To enhance the venue’s rustic vibe, the couple incorporated wooden wreaths, wine barrels, braided baskets and antiques throughout. Loosely gathered flowers piled high on birch branch pedestals gave the reception tables garden-like appeal, while a canopy of bistro lights mimicked a star-studded night sky. As a fun twist on a traditional gift table, the bed of a vintage 1948 Ford truck served as the "table" for cards and gifts. Jaime's mom designed the vintage-inspired dessert table piled high with cupcakes and more.
