A Rustic, Spring Wedding at Castle Hill Cider in Keswick, Virginia

Sarah Taylor (33 and in medical communications) and Giles Ring (32 and in information security) had a beautiful, spring wedding at Castle Hill Cider in Keswick, Virginia. With a color palette of cheerful yellows and soft blues, their celebration was both rustic and inviting. Sarah and Giles exchanged vows in a grove of Linden trees on the cidery's estate. Yellow streamers hung from the trees and the aisle was lined with mason jars of yellow ranunculus. The couple thoughtfully provided their guests with fans for the outdoor ceremony. The following reception was held in a barn illuminated by string lights. Yellow ranunculus, tulips and craspedia in blue vases were arranged on burlap tablecloths, and escort cards designed with a Greek key pattern were displayed in wood slab holders. Since the couple doesn't like wedding cake, they hired the Carpe Donut food truck from Charlottesville to serve their guests organic donuts for desserts. At the end of the night, the newlyweds exited in style in a vintage, 1962 convertible Thunderbird. "We worked hard to make the wedding very personal, and we tried to think of every detail so our guests would be comfortable" says Sarah. "In the end, we had such a great time surrounded by so many people we love."
