A Rustic Romantic Wedding at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort in Incline Village, Nevada

Liesl Bielefeld (30 and a director of finance) and Benjamin (Ben) Payne (34 and a mortgage loan officer) often went on trips together, had lots of great dinners, hung out with friends and always had fun, so Liesl thought nothing of a drive along Pacific Coast Highway to a romantic restaurant in Laguna Beach. On a walk along the cliffs, the couple stopped to watch the sunset when suddenly Ben got down on one knee and asked Liesl to marry him. Immediately after the proposal, the couple went to Liesl's parent's house to celebrate and contacted the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, where Liesl had wanted to get married since she was a little girl. The outdoor wedding style was rustic and romantic, incorporating neutral hues in the flowers and decor combined with the natural scenery. Liesl incorporated her dream flower, peonies, into her hand-tied bouquet, with a blend of champagne and blush blossoms with succulents and dusty miller. The couple had two cakes: a classic white wedding cake with a large cascading white floral ruffle and a groom's cake decorated with the Denver Broncos logo. As wedding favors, the couple made a donation to the American Cancer Society.
