A Rustic, Romantic Wedding at Chamard Vineyards in Clinton, Connecticut
A vineyard wedding in Clinton, Connecticut, was a no-brainer for vino aficionados Evamarie Gomez and Jonathan Bostic. “Chamard is one of our favorite vineyards,” the bride says. “The wine is delicious, and the grounds are gorgeous.” Given the season, Evamarie donned a sleeved gown complete with an illusion neckline, while bridesmaids wore deep red sheaths that coordinated with the bridal bouquet. To round out her glam style, Evamarie accessorized with a pearl-embellished birdcage veil and statement earrings—a gift from Jonathan. Wine cork details, mirrored place cards and sliced wood centerpieces lent a decidedly rustic vibe to the couple’s DIY dinner party. Guests sat down to a feast that included homemade corn bread, rosemary-sea-salt French fries, grass-fed burgers and coconut-lime-French-vanilla cake. But the indulgences didn’t stop there. Later in the evening, the newlyweds gathered family and friends around a fire pit to roast s’mores. “I was so busy talking and dancing throughout the night that I didn’t even get a chance to finish my glass of wine,” Evamarie says.
