A Rustic, Romantic Wedding at a Private Home in Cedar City, Utah

From the custom wedding arch to the rustic wooden place settings and ice cream bar, Traci Greninger and Travis Schlotterbeck’s mountaintop wedding was full of playful, personalized touches.

Floral prints and shades of pink lent a romantic element to the day, while wooden farm tables, hay bale benches topped with floral fabric and mason jars spoke to the setting’s charming country aesthetic. The names of guests were etched on bird-shaped escort cards and refreshing fruity beverages were served atop a vintage piano.

“For me, the most special moment was having Travis’ daughter Kaylee be moved to tears during our ceremony,” Traci says. “It was absolutely one of the most moving moments of my experiences as a stepmother. Being a ‘blended’ family has its occasional challenges, but having Kaylee and Dash’s blessing on our marriage was so incredibly meaningful. They even signed our marriage certificate.”

After the “I do’s,” Traci and Travis joined their friends and family on the front lawn for dinner and dancing. The evening was filled with plenty of fun ways for guests to let loose, from the cozy fire pit to the live band and a mechanical bull!

“Just have fun and don’t obsess over any single detail — make sure both of your voices are heard in the planning process,” Traci advises. “And show your gratitude for everyone who makes your day awesome.”
